Look up one company
A number is fetched directly. A name is searched on Companies House and every match is listed for you to pick from — small firms share names constantly, so nothing is chosen for you. The company is then enriched and scored exactly as it would be inside a cohort, and nothing about your cohorts changes.
Build a cohort
Pick a postcode area and a sector. The number of companies there whose register already shows a succession signal appears straight away — then build the cohort to see them, scored, with the working behind each one.
Stay on this page. The first stage reads directors and shareholders from the copy of the register held here, usually in under a minute, and the results table below fills in as it lands. Exact shareholdings are read from filed documents after that and update the same rows as they arrive — you do not need to wait for them to start reading.
Directors and shareholders come from the copy of the Companies House register held here, so that part takes seconds. The later stages read filed documents company by company, and Companies House allows roughly 600 requests every five minutes, so their time is the register's rather than ours. You can close this page. The run continues, results appear as they land, and you will be emailed when it finishes.
